Our Live Edge Bread or Appetizer boards are all made from one solid piece of wood. They measure 22" x 6" and are a sturdy 1" thick. Hand-crafted live edge boards are perfect for serving charcuterie, appetizers, or your favorite bread. Each board is unique, as we allow the organic nature of the tree to shape each board with a natural live edge. Made from East Indian Walnut, our boards are beautiful, durable, and coated with a food safe blend of organic beeswax and mineral oil. Boards can be customized with engraving of logos, names, or even hand written recipes. Tuckahoe Hardwoods was started by brothers George and Johnny Dent in 2004 out of an old farmhouse on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After developing our business here in Maryland, we started some sustainable forestry projects in Indonesia, where we now own and operate our own shop, using only sustainably harvested wood for all of our products. Production is started there, and everything is finished here in Maryland.
