Moroccan tradition is to gather around and eat communally from the tagine, as it functions as both the cooking vessel and serving dish, allowing food to caramelize while cooking to stay warm for longer when serving. Each tagine is handmade of terracotta and finished with lead-free glaze, and include recipes and care instructions.
Tagines are hand-cast and glazed (lead-free), no two are exactly alike and slight variations may occur.
