Damascus steel hand forged with combinations of 1095 High Carbon and 15N20 Bright Steel form over 288+ layers. Oil quenched and tempered to a hardness of 57-58 Rockwell C.

Care Information

• Apply a light coat of oil to the blade periodically, especially for high carbon or Damascus steel, to prevent oxidation and preserve the finish.
• If light rust develops, remove it gently with fine steel wool or a 1000-grit pad and oil, then finish with a metal polish to protect the surface.
